453.30000 458.30000
453.60000 458.60000
453.90000 458.90000

And in what location would these freqs be used? Or am I missing something obvious? Right of the top of my head I can think of at least 3 PLs for three of those, and at least 1 DPL, but they're all in different locations.

I believe 100.0 Hz is the PL tone used on the repeater output for the 3 PD and 1 Fire channels.

It is likely that 100.0 would be atleast one of the input tones on those repeaters, but that's NOT a certainty. Sometimes an agency will use a different tone on input if there have been problems with tropo interference in the past.

Some agencies will also use multiple input tones. When multiple repeater sites are in place, assigning each its own input tone can be used as a method for voting receivers.

Some agencies will also use an input (or output) frequency for simplex tac purposes, and the tac channel will have a separate tone.

Unless you have access to an "inside" source or programming template, some monitoring will probably be necessary to confirm input tones.

>> Some agencies will also use multiple input tones. When multiple repeater sites are in place, assigning each its own input tone can be used as a method for voting receivers.

To use an example in your area, JVRS, N.C. Forestry runs their district 4 repeater output in your area on 151.265 / 100.0 R.

The various inputs are 159.435 / 100.0 (Pamlico Co), 159.435 / 131.8 (Beaufort Co), 159.435 / 151.4 (Onslow Co) and 159.435 / 173.8 (Greene Co).

Shortly after I sent my first post to this message, I caught the district 4 weather report via my local S.C. DNR repeater, which uses the same input frequency and tone as Pamlico site.
