Which "Scanner Radio" app? I downloaded a few with 'scanner radio' in the app title, but none accepted my RR credentials...

Android has these features while iOS does not. My guess is that it is because of Apple and not because of Scanner Radio.

I had this app a while back but local feeds just didn't really have what I wanted to scan. I re-installed the app today out of curiosity. I did enter my Broadcastify credentials. (Android) Does my Broadcastify account really gain me anything?

I think on the apple version you have to get the pro subscription of the app to skip the ads. There is no broadcasify login.

Yeah its a shame I just upgraded phones and lost the old offical app which still worked.

Our own app is no longer distributed or supported for two reasons
  1. We don't want to be in the app development space. It's crowded, competitive, and requires an entire team to support the ecosystem of new phones, technology, etc.
  2. We have a great partner ecosystem of app developers who can compete and rapidly innovate.
  3. It's fun for me to sit back and watch quite a few people literally be minted as millionaires for their efforts as developers
That's it.

Plus, app users have extraordinary demands on what they expect from apps, support, features, etc. I'd rather be in the business of providing the infrastructure, audio, and data for apps to consume and innovate on ways to display to the end users.

Downloaded the app for IOS but was disappointed that for $39.99/year I couldn't log into my Broadcastify account and use the calls platform on an iPhone. Did I miss something, or is the app unable to connect with the calls platform on IOS?
