Please Help

I know this is probably a newbie question and has been asked a million times but i could not find it when I searched for it. I was wondering if there is a program that I could use to reprogram my Motorola XTS3000. I seached for it on google and came up wth nothing and also I read somewhere about making your own ribless cable, can anyone help me on this. I am low on money and trying to find a way to make this cable insted of having to pay lots of cash for one. Thank you in advance.

CPS is available from motorola, current version is 5.00.02 and typically runs in the 350.00 or more range depending on several factors. You will also need a Rib and a cable.

Rib and cable are available from several sources, but the only legal place to buy the programming software (CPS) is from motorola directly.
