Hey guys
Although I am fairly new to this pastime. I have picked up most of the OPP police jargon.
I am a little befuddled by the term "High Mile-ing" are they referring to High speed driving?
I would assume so
"Hi mile-ing" to me is the use of other vehicles to increase your vehicles fuel mileage ie: tail gaiting a transport for miles etc.

Typically for those doing 50 over... (i.e. 150 km/h in a 100 zone) but could explain anybody doing excessive speed

Not necessarily a conviction these flags are often added simply from some LEO's observation or opinion of the subject.

I believe that means Domestic Violence.
Must also echo the flags put in by officers and not convictions, RMS NICHE is a beast in that regard and there are concerns regarding its use. Recently WRPS stopped adding non-conviction notes to records checks, I suspect that was to finally comply with PIPEDA. Also there was a story about a Canadian woman who was denied entry into US based on non-conviction officers notes on MHA call involving her.
Cutting to the point there's a huge privacy concern as well as other legal liabilities when internal notes cause bias or worse against a person who is otherwise 10-60 negative. I understand the desire to have all available intel for officer response however there's something to be said about accountability (or lack thereof) when 1 officer says something which then somehow becomes undisputed fact.
