Does anybody know if East Polk County Fire is using a different frequency ? 154.385 is listed but i never hear the East side, I get all of West Polk Fire loud and clear.

No it is the same frequency, you just may not be able to hear it on the west side because of the mountains blocking line of sight. This is why East and the west have 2 separate repeaters

Is the east side as busy as the west ? I wonder if its worth trying to pick it up.......

West dispatch is the busiest because they have a higher population.

the east polk repeater is near ducktown and from where i live it comes in very poorly I don't know if its low power or just in a bad location.

Thats because the East repeater isnt up high enough, and the west is about 3,500 ft + ASL

They need to improve the repeater so i can listen to it.....lol
