The Ponchatoula Police Department in Tangipahoa Parish is definitely operating on LWIN. Looks like their old VHF frequency is just for backup.

Affirmative. I had loaded in the pertinent information from the RR Database and it seems to be correct. Ponchatoula has been active all day, and I also heard some chatter on a secondary TG, too. Thanks!

It is in the parish of Tangipahoa Parish, I believe west of Hammond,La.
It is pretty much as far West in Tangi as you can go lol. (Tangipahoa being LONG North and South, and so narrow East/West.)

Ponchatoula is a few miles south of Hammond and, truth be told, it's difficult these days to know precisely where one ends, and the other begins. I miss them SW MS, and SE LA Strawberries! Some of the biggest and juiciest I ever had. Used to use them bad boys mixed with some mix from DW, and some Cuervo....Anywayyyyy!
