About 15 years ago I wrote an article for one of my platforms of the time reviewing the 3 main scanning magazines of the time: Pop-Com, MT and S-USA. All three are now gone but the review still pretty well describes the three.

I do have PDF copies of Pop-Com and MT and refer to them often, sometimes for nostalgia or to research an article. They are a great resource.

Currently the only magazine I subscribe to is The Spectrum Monitor, and I have subscribed to this from day one in 2014. I consider it pretty much an extension of MT, similar people, articles, format and appearance. They are now midway thru their 6th year and seem to be going strong.

Here is a copy of the article I wrote back in 2003:

I think mine was two or three full pages.... people keep asking to see what I wrote, and I've not shared for fear of drama, but what the heII.... its' in the October 1984 edition and it's under a previous name (that will become obvious, my last name was Ferreira at the time.... let the curious questions begin...LOL) and the title is "Scanning the interstates"... While reading, remember, I was only 15 years old at the time..... it starts on page 4.
