Hi, all

I am seeing plenty of action around here this week. SE-COs, SHP, RCMP F-Div. and Sheriffs among the many that I am seeing.

Today from 10:38 to 10:48 a member of the RCMP ICE unit was seen traveling through this area toward the Yorkton region.

Again it took the RCMP a week to get around to sharing this information with us.

See the screenshot from November 5th, with the two talk-groups seen in use for most of that day.

Hi, to all

From 5:56 to 6:17 pm that RCMP ICE unit member traveled back through this area to Regina HQ.

RCMP F-Div. RIDs seen on sites 71 and 72 on November 14th:
2211353 on TG 50 is Regina ICE unit #4.
2211477 on TG 18.
2211483 on TG 50.
2211484 on TG 52.
2215110 on TG 12.

Last night just prior to 11:00 pm, a very unusual 1-way dynamic regroup was tested. See the screenshot.

Hi, to all

In my post #200 from November 9th, I had discovered a link RID 2212442 in use on the talk-group ID 4015 Delta 1.
Today many of the Estevan fire department's units/personnel could be heard communicating on this single RID 2212442.
The only other RID seen and heard was the command unit.
These PPSTN RIDs are used by Estevan FD.
2242991
2242992 Command Unit
2242993 Unit #2
2242994
2242995 Station #1

In that same post #200, I was seeing a new unknown SaskPower talk-group ID in use.
The talk-group ID 1116.
RID 2224544
RID 2224549

There could very well to be a total of six RIDs utilizing TG 1116. This talk-group appears to be in a previously unknow Zone #8.
TG 1116 appears to be Channel/Group #4 in the 8th zone.

I suspect that this unknown zone is used for the Renewables, solar and wind.

The talk-group ID 1112 appears to be Channel/Group #1 in Zone #8 and has been seen in use for at least 7 years or more.
RID 2222065
RID 2222073
RID 2222580
RID 2226068
RID 2226241
RID 2226248

I think that the SaskPower Zone 8 channel #4 talk-group ID# 1116 could very well be utilized by:

Hi, to all

The RID's 2263079 and 2263091 on the talk-group ID 6266 took 30 minutes to travel through this area westbound on the #10 highway to Regina. I think that this was most likely David Chan's transportation.

Hi too all, I have looked over the .docs file Mobby1-Kenobby shared and I am still unsure about these RID's. If anyone has any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi, to @kylep997

Looking at your screenshot, I can see that you are decoding the Carnduff site # 153.

This site's channel numbers are:
#006 138.0300 TX #804 142.0050 RX
#042 138.2100 TX #840 142.2000 RX
#072 138.3600 TX #870 142.3500 RX
#144 138.7200 TX #636 141.1800 RX

RID 2212500 is the Carnduff base station, so RIDs above this will be alfa and bravo cars followed by the portables.

2212508 Carnduff Car?
2212509 Carnduff Portable?
2212510 Carnduff Portable?
2212511 Carnduff Portable?
2212512 Carnduff Portable?
2212518 Carnduff Portable?
2212523 Estevan Car?
2212525 Estevan Car?
2212530 Estevan Portable?
2212531 Estevan Portable?
2212532 Estevan Portable?
2212892 Talk-Group ID 16 Unit.
2212906 Seen on site 72 with 2213000?
2214723 Crime Reduction Team or WEST member?
2214776 Crime Reduction Team or WEST member?
2216254 Weyburn Traffic Services Portable?
2211853 Traffic Services?
2211855 Traffic Services?

Look under "Action" for Login and Joins as the RID is on the site being decoded.
Look at these at shift changes at 7 am and 5 pm and at noon.
A member will go to the office prior to a shift change and pick a portable and turn it on = login/joins.
That member will then go to a unit in the parking lot and you will see that mobile login/join the local TG ID 14.
When you see those regular daily RID login/joins, those are your locals.

Look under "Service" for "Dat" = the RID is on site # 153, seen frequently = a local RID.
Portables will login/join and logout much more frequently than mobiles.
When you are out and about take note of any ID numbers that are seen on their units.
SHP cars have the last four digits of that unit's RID on the sides of their cars.

After you have done this for some time you will have built your own RID data base.

Move advanced techniques can be used later, such as decoding the data sent by the RIDs on the RX channels.
Decoding the voice channel messages.
Getting their encryption key IDs.
Taking it out on the road, go mobile with it. This is the best part.

Enjoy!

Hi to all. I've been seeing dynamic regroups for the RCMP Training Academy in my area. TG's 680 and 690 are the ones that seem to be coming up. Any reason why there are these TG's are all the way down here?

Good morning, kylep997

All dynamic regroups are system wide and will be seen on every site when in use.
This is done so any user RID on one of the two subgroups will move to the new group in use.
The RCMP usually test their dynamic regroups on Wednesdays but if there is a holiday that will move to Thursday.
Testing usually begins at midmorning and ends before noon.
When testing you will see Adds followed by Drops.
1-Way = Simplex communication with only the dispatcher being heard by all units.
2-Way = Duplex communications with all units.
Look for those dynamic regroups this morning and report if you see any communications on any of them.

Thanks'

A major incident is ongoing to the east of my location, It began shortly after 9:30 am with
MOSS and CICC communicating with Melville and Yorkton units followed by units from other detachments.
Charlie cars from Regina and PDS just traveled through the area. See the screenshots.

Update 10:46 am still ongoing. Maybe a high speed chase involving A440 Melville.
More units arriving now with A681 Southey on site.

Hi, all
In my previous post above (216), I reported what I was seeing going on and the link bellow could have something to do with what I was seeing.
I suspected that the incident was happening west, north-west of Melville because I was not seeing login/joins on site 72 or any action on that site to indicate that the occurrence was in that area. Perhaps there could be more to add to this story in the coming days? We shall see.
