Prattville System Change?

Good evening all, it's been a while since I've logged into this forum. I just returned from temporary duty to Oklahoma. Has the Prattville PD/Fire changed their system? I hear mostly buzz now. What little audio I do hear on their frequencies is distorted...

See this thread. Looks like the fire department is in the process of changing over to a new narrowband repeater.

Looks like I may be buying a new scanner...I don't think the ones I have will support narrowbanding.
