I don't understand all the delivery issues. I don't have any problem with any of the services mentioned. Is it maybe some of you are in really rural areas?

ROFLMAO, yes I do live in a rural area, on an island, takes 4 to 7 days for Amazon to process an order then takes like 8 to 16 days to deliver the order by truck, if i can get free shipping and faster delivery i would cut out amazon, heck Walmart doesn't delivery 95% where I am, lol

Ok so back on the subject I am going to try to share another reason Amazon prices went up on scanners, not supply and demand, sometimes it can be scalpers, but not always, now for example
the SDS 200 is for sale for the price of $699.99 you have to look to see if and I say if it's shipped by Amazon or sold and shipped by Amazon, if not something you have to be careful.
Say Bearcat warehouse sells unidens and they are not showing up it means sold out I think or they are not on Amazon for that product.
Scroll down on the 3rd part sellers then click new and look, the 996P2 is buried by the police scanner warehouse for $499.99 some times a company raises prices because they need to make back their holiday losses.
so the rest is just look and see and if you do not like the price to come down then don't buy, it's just a waiting game.
currently, the 325P2 is $449.99 I think when it comes down I will grab one one a gift,
so far 3 basic cheaper whistler scanners are sold out still or out of stock.
the rest of the list well is analog so unless you want a handheld or base station for your needs those may stay low on price for uniden.

HRO has the 325P2 for $399. I just bought one a week ago.

the other option is its inflation due to things out of our control for example i buy allot of my foods on amazon they raised it $1 or more per box, so could be the same for scanners, lol

If you scroll to the bottom of both websites, you will see they have the same mailing address and phone number. However, the email addresses are different.

So after I had some morning coffee I came across something interesting. Since between 2017 and 2024 prices have been tracked so I will give you guys and gals food for thoughts.
so as you know I do price watches and so forth the following is an informative
I will go from the most expensive down to the least expensive.
1. SDS 200 hasn't changed price since it was introduced and that's on Amazon and other dealers' sites
2. SDS 100 $549.99 in 11/30/2019 current price $649.99
3. the 536 was $384.64 on 5/7/2017 as the cheapest currently it's $649.99 same as an SDS 100, lol
4. the 436 on 6/26/2017 was $323.97 today it's $547.33
5. the 996p2 was $325.00 on 11/21/2019 currently on Amazon sold out
6. the 325p was $251.31 on 5/7/2019 current price $444.78
7.125at cheapest was $74.32 6/30/2017 currently $120.10
8.15x $119.00 on 12/1/2019 currently $214.99
9.365crs was $60.23 on 11/21/2018 currently $95.442
10.355n was $61.58 on 11/1/2018 currently $88.45
