I just moved to Prineville

Any other scanner operators in town care to share their knowledge with me?

The FCC database is very light regarding Crook County and Prineville allocations.

How does Frontier Communications Center sound? They dispatch four counties right? Crook, Sherman, Gilliam and Jefferson? Their FB public site doesn't tell too much about them.

Frontier Regional Emergency Communications in Condon handles Gilliam, Jefferson, Sherman, and Wheeler counties and Warm Springs PD. It appears that the City of Prineville does Crook County This info is from Oregon PSAP list:

Adding info to omlbed's post:

Frontier dispatches Gilliam, Sherman and Wheeler counties on the P25 Phase II 700mhz trunk system.

Frontier also dispatches for Jefferson county sheriff and Madras PD on the Jefferson 153.860 freq. When they first went online, Frontier kept transmitting in digital mode and the deputies wouldn't respond. I swear I heard someone in P25 Phase I on their channel the other day. It was quick and at the end of the conversation. Never heard anything more.

Warm Springs PD has their own dispatcher.

City of Prineville handles both dispatch and the jail for Crook County sheriff.
