i am trying to program fleetnet in my scanner pro 106 and i know i have to go to the globe settings but i can't find where it says band plan can any one help me with that

trying to do by hand i looked for it could not find it when i try to program with out changeing settings in globe menu i type in 142.71000 then scanner put in 142.71500

Pro 106 programmingi

If your scanner is new BANDPLAN is in GLOBAL menu. If it is older follow FORTS sticky at top of page. Hope this helps ( I had same problem ) BILL67

yea i was looking in the globe menu and i could not find the bandplan where did you see bandplan on yours bill? i bought the scanner yesterday and i checked the scanner firmware before i did anything and it looked like the updated firmware but i just used win500 to program it.

Check out Dec. 27 thread by Doggy 1 and follow it down to where Forts gives rundown on how to program fleetnet into the 106. I did one for my brother-in-law before Christmas so I do not have manual to check. There are different GLOBAL menus for each type of object you choose i.e. Conv. object, Talkgroup object . When Forts checks in he will set you straight. Good Luck. BILL67

for the ac adapter i picked up 9V 800mA with the type c plug would that bo ok i read the book that came with it and it said at least 500mA i just don't want to damage my scanner
