I am having issues with my new Pro-107 handheld. When first turned on it scans great and then for some reason it quites receiving anything. Most of the time I can menu out to the main screen and then start scanning again. Any one having this problem or have a solution?

Try formatting the card, and reloading the database on it, as well as the programming.... If that doesn't work...try wiping the programming out as well and starting over... It sounds like you have something that is corrupted on your card.

Pro-107 Issue

Hi,

Sometimes, on any of my several PRO-107's, if I hit pause to hear a particular station, then try to resume the scan, the display will be missing a few display dots. I notice it will not pick up any channels until I push pause again and then everything reverts to normal operation.

I believe this is a glitch in the firmware. It does not happen all the time and has occurred on every Pro-107 I have owned or used.

I don't know if this is exactly your problem or not, but I hope it helps.

Thanks dxradio2003 for the info, for $200 and this irritation glitch I just returned this unit. I kinda thought It was firmware.

Mine does that too and that's how I correct it.
