Pro-163, Psr-400

Is this the same radio in different clothes? Does it operate the same and have the same features? Are there ANY differences?

I am looking at buying a couple to replace my wonderful but not firmware update able Pro-2055's.

I am cross posting this in both the Radio Shack and GRE Radio forums, for a greater chance for someone in "the know" seeing it and being able to answer.

They really are identical but they use different firmware versions and won't clone from one another. They operate identically to the Pro-2055 as well.

But, if you already have Win97, you can update it and program either radio.
