Which system are you monitoring? With some systems you don't need to do anything for rebanding. It depends on the freqs.
The PRO-96, PRO-163 and 164 can be rebanded, but they require you to enter custom band plans. I understand the 163 & 164 can only be done using a program.

Radio only needs rebanding support for most MOT 800 systems

You only need a radio that supports rebanding if you are monitoring a MOT 800 rebanded system AND any of the voice frequencies fits the format of 85x.xxx0 MHz. With EDACS or LTR, just program in the new frequencies.

PRO-163/PRO-164 supports rebanding
PSR-400/PSR-300 supports rebanding (they are the same as '163/'164)
PRO-2055 does not
PRO-96 supports rebanding if you have new enough firmware

Don't forget there is also the PSR-410 & PSR-310 now, which are upgrades to the '163/'164.
