Pro-164 Display

I got a Pro -164 and noticed when it stops on a transmition, the Group Name and MOT are displayed. I would really rather see the Group Name and the Text description.

Does anyone know if that is an option and how to configure is to be so?

Assuming you have put in the name, page 54 in the manual tells you how to display it. Or you can look at the picture on page 5.

PRO-164 (or PSR-300) programming

Welcome to RadioReference.com!!! Get yourself a USB cable (RS 20-047) and WIN97 software (www.starrsoft.com). The software will make it a lot easier to program and manage your scanner. Just entering the text tags can be quite time consuming. It will get the scanner programmed into the mode you desire.
