Hey guys, great site you have here. My father always had a scanner growing up and I loved it. I just bought my first, the PRO-164.
Everywhere I read, this model sounded like a good buy for an entry level scanner. However, when I got home I'm not getting very many channels. I get a couple from Dallas which is about 20-25 miles away but none of my local stuff?
According to the database Im in a LTR trunked area. Im going to see if I can figure that out. No luck so far. I'm going to call the free RS support.
If anyone in my area has any great advice or freq for a new guy i would greatly appreciate it.
