Pro 197 Encrypted

Hello everyone, I would like to know if the Pro 197 will received Encrypted police signals?
Also is there much a different between the Pro 197 and the BCD 996T

No the 197 will not receive encrypted transmissions.Nor will any other scanner on the market and they never will.

The PRO 107 will blast that transmission as high as your ears can take it. Uniden models always hide it, mine does. I'd rather listen to a MO: system CC, than encrypted.
