Okay I got short and quick answer. I'm going to be programming my scannner here again and I'm going to be adding a frequency of 155.02500. It said it is a P25 mode. Would you just program that under a convential or do you need to do more then just that??? Let me know.

Yes, if it is in the DB conventional listings and shows as "P25" mode, then just program it in your PRO-197 like you do any other conventional frequency.
You can either set the mode to Auto (which will work just fine), or you can set the mode to P25 when programming it. If you are positive that it's P25 digital 100% of the time, and not a mixture of analog/digital, you might as well program it as P25.
