Pro 2020 Squelch

Need a little help, I once had instructions for my Pro 2020 to tighten the squelch control but now I can't find it. I was wondering if anyone would know how to do this or actually have the instructions for it. I have the schematics so that is no problem. I have Googled it and found everything but. Anyways thanks in advance.

i was going to say turn the knob, but then i remembered some of the radio shack scanners had a 'loose' squelch.
i think i did that on my pro2004, might have been change out or add a resistor.

Instructions are given for the PRO-2022 which has a MC3361 IF chip. Note that the PRO-2020 has a MC3357 like the Pro-24 in the linked chart. So change R199 to 220K in your PRO-2020 and see if it does what you want.

Update, I added a 150K resistor in series with R199, squelch is much improved. Now I can have my squelch control at the 10 o'clock position instead of 12 o'clock and after a transmission ends there is no squelch tail, just a clean break. So thanks all for the help.
