ok--this is dumb, but i'll ask anyway.

Can I do a discriminator tap and decode control channel info from a mixed mode 3600 baud system, specifically Charles County, MD's new system?

I have the pro-2067 just sitting around, i've already downloaded t4win and etrunk, now i need to do the tap, but i need to know if i need a digital scanner. there is no sense wasting my time on a tap for the 2067 if it wont do what i needed it to do.

That would work fine. When you decode a control channel you don't care about the modulation type of the voice channels, just as long as your software understands the control channel type.

I have 2 2067's just sitting around too!

so the control channel is being digital does not prevent the 2067 and t4win from decoding it? GREAT!

All control channels are digital.
The radio is just providing the baseband audio, the computer is going to do all the decoding work. :)

BTW, I don't know of an easier radio to tap than the 2067, it is like they designed it for the purpose.
