My Pro-91 appears to be an obscure handheld as I can't find anything on WIKI or RR about it.
It was a good scanner til Austin went APCO-25, (now it's a Pro-96 most of the time...)

Still useful for Weather, Amatuer, Civil Air, Simulcast Repeaters. I keep it fired-up...

Asking as no mention of this GRE-RS product and wondering if any others are out there.

Hmm, I don't have one, but I thought it was made by Uniden for RS. Isn't just a 150 channel model of the Pro-90 (which I do own)? BTW, I use my Pro-90 everyday for either conventional or monitoring one or two TGs on the STARNet system here.

Isn't the Pro-91 a cousin of Unidens BC235XLT?
Well kind of, the Pro-90 was the BC235XLT with different printing. I am not sure if Uniden ever put out a "house" model comparable to the Pro-91.

Thanks all! Looking around WIKI I see it is a Uniden-made.

"hello i wonder why they only made it 150 channels"

I reckon it was due to limits on technology at the time. It's far easier to get 5000 digital channels and far easier to get more now in any kind of storage. Remember when 64K of RAM was as big as you could go? (Well I do, but I was in that industry at the time..)

Not a bad little unit all on all, back to the Pro-91... Perhaps a bit outdated but useful for all but digital. Extrememly good for Ham and Civil Air.
