Go with the PRO-97 instead, it has alpha tags, and 1000 channels in 10 banks of 100. The PRO-94 only has 2 banks of 500, which makes organization difficult. Also, the PRO-97 is rebanding supported.

In my opinion, no. Go with a PRO-97. It costs only a little more, but it has alpha tags, Signal Stalker, does LTR trunking, mil air, has a great backlight and a lighted keypad, has more channels, etc. Just my opinion.

I own 2 Pro-94's. Go with the 97.
