Yes, the cable you mentioned should work. All it requires is a straight through for cloning.

I made one with two connectors and a piece of two conductor wire I had around.

The cable that you first mentioned will work for cloning data from one Pro-95 to another. The cable fmon mentioned is use to transfer data from your compter to your Pro-95. The software everyone generally uses is Win95.
