Welcome to the group! :)

Moto systems contain frequency assignments in the control channel data stream. The pro95 can decode this trunk a system with only the control channel frequency keyed in.

There is a caveat though. If the system rotates its control channel, to another frequency, the 95 will stop tracking the system.

If you have not already done so, purchase a programming cable for you 95. It take the programming work load down to zero.

newbie to the pro95

Hey just picked up the pro 95 myself, havnt had a chance to sit down and program it yet but already im full of questions just from reading the manual, hahaha. This is my first trunktracker so i'll be checking all the forums for advice. Great to know that theres some other newbies out there also

I've heard that Win95 is a great program to use with the cable for programming your scanner, when you pick one up. I got mine included with an ebay sale, picked up the scanner with the cord for 128.50 US.
