I have to say as an employee at a RadioShack in Charlotte, NC it's nice to know so many people are happy with our product

. But the main thing i wanted to say was that I dont know if many people know this but with the PRO95 and PRO96 when programming any APCO25 (non-EDACS) both models only need to be programmed with the CONTROL channel(s) for your area. Like for Charlotte, NC (Mecklenburg county) the only channel you need to program is 858.4875 (main control channel). In addition you would need whatever talkgroup Id's you may want or you can let it scan open and just stop on whichever is active. This is a nice time-saver feature. I don't know if this helps anyone. I don't believe it is listed in the manual. Also in response to the telephone question: I know that in addition to regular cordless phones you can also pick up telephone interconnect calls from many police/Fire/EMS radios if they place a phone call from their radio. In most cases you would only hear one side of the conversation for these as they use two different frequencies for the call, one for transmit and one for receive.
