PS- there have been reports of problems with VHF 9600 systems. I think Alaska was having problems.

Yes, and it'll do "control-channel only" tracking on those too!

I wouldn't call it a "problem" exactly. Being a new breed of system plus not having a program like Trunker to analize it, sure makes it a pain.... There's one big anomaly at this time that time will explain and that is, the only way to get the radio to partially track this VHF 9600 system is using weird Offset values like:

For a Control channel: 154.825 and Voice freq: 154.9875, I can get it to track by using these settings:

Base Freq:153.9875
Offset: 9578
Step: 7.50kHz

Of course, that will work for only some of the voice frequencies, I'm pretty sure that this system uses two sets of Base/Offset. Other sites use an Offset of around 21000 and 26000. These anomalies have been seen on a UHF 9600 system also.
