I have read and believe I understand what is going on there. The page describes a method where you program all frequencies in a certain bank with the same LTR frequency. And you can observe by which bank (and which channel number) how the frequency maps to an LCN.

I realize that the Pro-97 has the 'idle burst' LTR/LCN mapping feature. However, I am curious if the Pro-97 can use the mapping algorithm mentioned in the Wiki to determine LCN numbers for frequencies w/o idle bursts?

I have an older BC780XLT that I know can be used for this purpose. I am thinking about adding a Pro-97 so that I can be a bit more 'mobile'

You might want to check this link for Pro-07 LTR iNFO.
