How do I stop and only listen on one talk group?

You have to wait until there is a transmission on the talkgroup you want to listen to. While the transmission is taking place, press pause, (pse) and it will stay on that talkgroup until you press scan or turn off the scanner. There may be other ways, but I don't have the win97 software. Maybe someone else has another method?

You can also press and hold the "TRUNK" button for a couple of seconds ("ID HOLD MODE"
will display on screen) to acheive the same result.. Hit "TRUNK" button again, once, or the "Scan" button and you will be back in the "scanning mode"

There's another way.

While you're on the trunked system you are interested in, press "PSE" (pause) or manual.

Press "PGM" then "T" (trunk)

Use the up and down arrow keys to scroll to the talkgroup you want.

Press "F" (function) then "T" (trunk) and you'll be holding and monitoring on that one talkgroup.
