Hello, I am having recording/ audio issues.
Set up: Uniden SDS100, Newer Lenovo laptop.
I have the SDS100 connected to the laptop. I can hear audio thru the laptop speakers. I record the calls. When i play it back I cannot hear anything. I feel like I have tried everything, but apparently I am missing something.
I have the loop back activated, I see levels on both sides moving when speaking is going on. I see that the actual recording is on the computer hard drive. When i mimimize pros can, and watch a video from you tube I can hear the audio from the video. I go back to pro scan and try too listen to a recording and i hear nothing.
Frustrated!!!
I also have another SDS100 running on an older Toshiba laptop thru pro scan and it works perfectly. I cash hear audio and hear all my recordings. I set the new laptop up just like the older laptop and with their new laptop i cannot hear the recordings.
I do not know if this matters but the older laptop has a 3.5 Audi jack, the newer laptop does not. I had to get a sound adapted to plug the microphone cable to plug into.
Like I said, I can hear audio from the scanner great thru the laptop speakers, it is the recordings I cannot hear. Yes, I do have the recording button activated. Thank you for any help I could get.

I have record on and see files in the ProScan program but I am unable to listen to any recording or to see a folder as shown below to see where the recordings are on my computer. When I press Play, Stop or any of the buttons it appears that nothing happens... I have tried everything and I am at a lose to how to hear them...

The path and filenames may have exceeded the maximum path length of 260 characters. So if that's the case then reduce the path & filenames by doing 1 or all 4 of the following:
1. Change the Custom Formatters in the Custom Recording Folders
2. Change the Custom Formatters in the Custom Filename Format
3. Change the Recordings Location
4. Install ProScan in the root folder

To get to the recordings location, click the File Explorer button in the Test & Extra tab. The reason, they don't show up in the application folder is because Windows puts all program generated files in the virtual store on non elevated instances that's installed in the Program Files(x86) folder.

Working with BCD536HP my setting do not show the scanner audio like above?
How are you feeding the audio, via wifi (URL) or headphone port connected to your sound card? It would help tremendously if you could post a screenshot or two of what you're seeing. See Pages 7 & 8 of the Proscan manual for Audio Setup tips

Sorry, I am feeding it through WIFI. It seems like the audio is not being put through ProScan. It shows it stopping on frequency and recording it, but does not have any audio. I am not sure what screenshots would be most beneficial.

Is it recording audio and just no audio out of the computer speakers? If that's the case then go to the Audio Control - Test tab then select Recorder and check the Loopback box like in the 1st image.

If the recorder is not recording audio - If the audio worked at one time then it may be just a matter of power cycling the scanner. If that doesn't help then go to the Audio Control - Recorder tab. Ensure URL is selected then click the URL Setup button. Check that the IP address is correct and you don't see any errors in red. See the tips at the bottom.
