PRO96 VR Adjustment

There's a current discussion going on about the PRO-96 and the ARMER System in MN. Some of the responses talked about adjusting VR4 to put it back in spec for 800 MHz, P25, Phase 1 systems. Is there a similar adjustment for 400 MHz, P25, Phase 1 systems? Perhaps adjusting VR2 or VR3? Thanks.

I would not attempt to adjust anything other than VR4 unless you are familiar with 2-way radios and have the proper test equipment for tuning them. If the scanner is adjusted for 800 MHz, it should be OK for 400 MHz. Unlike later scanners, the PRO-96 will require the proper band plan for UHF P25 systems.
