Problem Programming from Sentinel

Hi All, Haven't been on the Forum in a while but may need a little help with a programming issue with my SDS200. It's been about three years without any programming and today I added a law enforcement agency (Somerset County Sheriff's) from Sentinel and haven't heard a transmission all day. My procedure was as follows;

Appended Somerset Cry Dispatch, Tac 1 and Tac 2 and sent them to a new Favorite List. I went into the edit screen and choose the color for the indicator light and also choose the Option for the quick key. Closed the Edit screen and saved same. Went to the other Edit Screen and turned on the Download and monitor to yes.

I went into the quick key screen and selected that new QK number to add it to the start screen.

I must be forgetting something ?? But what?

Hi John, Yes have all Service Types checked and turned on.

Jusy remembered but have it set correctly for the SDS200, Target Model.

If you do a channel hold (Press Channel soft key, enter TGID & press Channel again) do you hear traffic then?

OK, This is going to be humiliating, I owned and programmed the 536HP's SDS100's and SDS200 since the introduction back around 2013. I haven't touch the programming since 2018.

I was able to program these scanners and usually help those whom needed the help. Well old age is setting in, and all day yesterday and up until 1400hrs today I haven't stopped. Believe me I programed, erased and re-programmed.

I found out today the Favorites List I've tried to install is for the Somerset County Sheriffs here in New Jersey, and they don't work Saturdays and Sundays unless they're pre scheduled event.

Well tomorrow morning I'll punch them in on the scanner and hopefully I'll receive their comms.

Any time you question whether a Favorites List is working, you may try sticking in a conventional channel, the weather service frequency covering your area. If you get that to come up, you know there isn't an issue with a setting on the FL.
