I'm hand programing a BC346XT for a Motorola Type II SmartZone in ocean county NJ, I have the system in and running in open but when I try to programing TGIDs for fire, I enter them and hit E/yes and it says ''bad TGID '' after leaving it on open and running it next to my BCT-8 when I knew the talkgroups where in use. I found that talk-groups are in a different format then what the BCT8 is on and the RR data base? example fire zone 4 on the bct8 is 20608, on the 346 its 201-0.
why is this? can i change it or find a list of what the ids are for the 346? Normally I have no problems programing my scanners and this is bothering me!

You have accidentally entered a fleet map for the system. Go clear all the fleetmap entries back to 0 and the TGIDs should work fine. Fleetmaps are set in System Options.
