I just wanted to check - freescan is the better software to use for programming. Once I compile my systems and groups, when I upload to the scanner from freescan program, it will transpose all of the information so I do not have to manually input any changes or additional information to optimally receive signals. This includes all codes (NAC, CDCASS, etc..) as well as digital / analog system and narrow band VS. standard / wide band frequencies - correct? Also, would there be any advantages to changing an analog tag to digital or if a system is analog should I just leave it as analog and not change it to digital. Finally, there are times when I do not hear a transmission with a digital system when the scanner stops on a frequency I believe is receiving a signal. Is it true that turning ACG off improves reception? Thanks for any help.
