How do I program talkgroups and the hex numbers into my HP-2. Rankin County (MS) has switched to TDMA (phase 2) and some traffic is heard. I have the talkgroups and hex numbers but no idea as to how to program them into the scanner via the software...Any ideas..

Thanks and be safe.

Or look at the RR database and see if those HEX numbers are already there. If so, look at the DEC column.

Thanks but that wasn't my question. I have those and not all listed in RR database are correct. I have 25-30 that I have that aren't listed and I have the 5 digit talkgroups and the HEX numbers--my question is how to I program them using the Sentinel...

So - the correct question is how to create a favorite list? Just enter the converted TG. You can not edit the Uniden Db, just a favorite list.

If you do not know how to create a FL - there are many links/u-tube etc on here.

Or submit the corrections, wait a week and update the DB.

Also - please submit the corrections to RR.

Bring up Windows Calculator, chick VIEW then select SCIENTIFIC, then click the HEX button, enter your HEX TG, then click the DEC button, and it will show the decimal equivalent.
