I own a Pro-96 and had posted here earlier in regards to KSP being all digital. Thanks for the 2 replies I received. Now that I have knowledge that they are all digital, I want to program my Pro-96 to pick up the NKY posts, mainly Dry Ridge. I know they are on the APCO 25 system. My question is how do I program my scanner for their frequencies? For example, one frequency they use at Post 6 is 453.2625
If I find an empty channel that I want to store that frequency in, and press "Program", type in the 453.2625, and hit enter. But what should the Mode be? Or what should it show? It wouldn't be FM, would it? How about MO? Any help would be appreciated. I am still slowly learning here.

I don't have the program you are referring to. Thanks, I'll have to check it out.

However, I am not sure what you mean by Conventional Mode. When I press the "Mode" button, I see MO, ED, AM, FM, CT, & DC modes. Which of those do I need to use?

Hi Jester-

Just use FM mode--the radio will automatically decode the digital signal. Also, if you get the WIN96 software, you can download the whole KSP system, and then program it into your radio--it's over 200 frequencies, so that would definitely save your fingers from wear and tear. Hope you enjoy the radio.

Regards,
