Programming Trunked systems Pro 2096

Hello,

I am new to the scanning arena. I was hoping someone could help me get started.

I found a list of trunked frequencies on this site, and I would like to program my pro 2096 to listen to them.

any help would be appreciated,

Well the first thing to do would be to look in the manual. The second thing you can do is go download Win96 and get a programming cable.

A third thing is if you would say what system (County,City and State) you're trying to program.

im am trying to program the following:

County: Douglas
City: Roseburg
State: Oregon

If that is what you are trying to monitor forget it with your scanner. No scanner can monitor that type of system at least I am pretty sure they can't.

Edit: You may be able to monitor them if you put them in conventionally, they just will not be able to be trunked. It will be hard to follow conversations in this manner.
