the scanner is setup with ProScan i download to Freescan in Genesee Co. the control channel is check. in FreeScan how do i fix that in Proscan. thanks for any help

I bet that you have a XT type scanner. BCD996XT, BCD396XT, BCT15X, or BC346XT.
The Uniden XT scanners uses control channel only. There is not a scanner option to turn it off so the software operates the same way without the option.
