ProScan: Proscan web interface- Any tips for portrait oriented display?

I've seen some amazing work on other folks Proscan web servers here. I am curious if anyone has a good thing going with the webserver in portrait mode on a smartphone. My phone holder in my vehicle works best in vertical/portrait mode. I find the horizontal scanner layout hard to read and operate in the car.

I realize only so much can be changed especially since there isn't a vertical scanner layout provided in ProScan. Still I wanted to see what others were doing for this issue. I've messed a bit with the CSS and made some small tweaks, but nothing drastic.
