PSP helo near Shamokin

Around 0130L - 0200L PSP helo doing search patterns near Shamokin. Any info on what they were searching for?
Also, around that time frame and now (0225L), 4 Geisinger helos operating between Danville and Pottsville; a2a 123.025 and with PSP earlier.

I searched for news in the Shamokin area and it looks like just internet sites that are pretty amateuriously done.

Nothing breaking but they did name a baseball field after a former coach. Doesn't seem to be any real breaking news source for that area.

Let me see if there are any major newspapers that would cover that area.

I also checked Danville news. The police log was blank. Nothing going on. Amazing how there really is a lack of any breaking news coverage in that part of Pennsylvania. Nothing on the two TV stations that cover that area but I don't think they are that close.

Actually in very rural areas like that they will send out a press release a week after the event happened that most likely won't even resemble the real event😄

Yep when I checked the "News Item", they didn't have the story yet, they probably do regular cop checks and got a press release, good find!
