Maybe GRE can do an update on the 600 with the encryption mute on the P25.

Even better if it is selectable-sometimes I need to know what is encrypted and what isn't!

Use the scanner options folks, Lock ENC out or if it's always ENC, don't program TGRP or use permanent Lout if it is programmed. Many ENC talkgroups are one sided so not sure I want muted ENC.

The 800 EZ Scan has a check box option to not Update ENC labeled talkgroups from RR database. This method removes a whole school division in my area. Guess the bus drivers are sensitive.

I would use it when in a system search and you keep hitting on the encryption TG's.
