PSR's and SAME weather alert

When using the SAME weather alert function, will the scanner display the weather alert text message or will it just alert and take you to the audio weather service broadcast? Anyone check their weather alert function with the weekly NWS test?

I beleive it supposed to show the text, but I have yet to confim this from experience.
