In the above, what does the /2 mean next to the frequency? Does anyone have any idea? Thanks!

Also, any tips on using Proscan recording? I guess I should go watch a video to see what audio input I need to select for it to record what is coming from the scanner. I have a BCD436hp connected.

On the audio input, If you have separate Line In and Mic inputs then the Line In is preferable. Select the same input in the Audio Control - Recorder tab.

To monitor the audio and quality on the computer speakers then go to the Audio Control - Monitor & Test. Select Recorder then check the loopback box.

Hmm I'm on windows 10 and have a laptop with a headphone only Jack.

Would my setup be the following:
A USB soundcard plugged in, plug a cable into the radios audio out, then plug that into the USB soundcard? (to capture the audio)?

I never really do serial connections so unsure if I can rig it to pick up the audio from the com port (I guess not) :(

Thanks for your help

The audio doesn't ride on the comm. port so you will need a USB sound adapter. I've used this without issues.
