I’m wanting to submit a few frequencies to Radio Reference for the first time. I have the call sign, but I cannot locate the private license on the fcc.gov website. I’ve searched the website by trying the call sign, but there’s no results.

I’m trying to submit:
Tyson Foods Call Sign WQPB479
Conventional DMR

Would appreciate any guidance or help in finding the PL so I can submit some frequencies.

Thank you.

As far as the license, if you found WQPB479, that is the license -- taken right from FCC data. And if you look up that license on RR, there is an option to click on the callsign which will take you to the FCC site.

- click on the callsign on this page and it'll take you to the license on the FCC website

Try to explain in more detail what you are confused about / what you are looking for.

I appreciate that. That was the site we were on to look for the private license, but I do not see on that page where it states the private license.

I’m needing the example 145.5 PL so I can submit to RR. I cannot locate the PL on that page.

That type of information is not included on a license.

And a DMR frequency does not have a PL tone. Either it's a conventional analog channel with DMR, or it's a DMR channel with a color code.

You find PL / DCS / Color Code / RAN -- channel protection type of information -- by actually monitoring it with a scanner capable of giving you that information, or SDR software.

What are you using to monitor the DMR frequency?

oh ok. It’s conventional analog with DMR. We are using a SDS 100 and a TRX 1.

I didn’t realize the private license number is on the display screen of the scanners. I will. Check that out. Thank you for your help.

Certainly if you park on a freq with an SDS100 (with DMR support) it si going to show details, like the color code - and talkgroup (if voice is active). TRX I guess should do the same. If it's analog, but scanners are capable of decoding PL / DCS if you have them set to do so.

the frequency is likely either going to be analog with a PL or DPL (DCS) tone, or a DMR frequency with a color code and a talkgroup. Of course a talkgroup would only show up during voice transmissions.
