I've been KG4INW all along and don't plan on changing, I'm so use to it. Got into radio through Boy Scouts and eventually earned my tech license when I was 14.

VE6SRT - "Basic with Honours" in Canada's terms. I don't know how it corresponds to the American classifications, but I have the ability to tx on everything from HF to GHz freqs. I don't have the authorization to make equipment or operate (own/run) a repeater - that requires an Advanced ticket.

The Honours portion simply allows access to HF. You could also get that by having Morse certification (which I do not).
