Good Morning All,
Now, I've been putting in the Motorola Type II systems as that's what we have here in the Shreveport/Bossier City area and Northwest LA for the State police trunking systems.
Question: IS there a "prim-er" for how this system works?
The Caddo 911 E-Comm District 1 uses all sorts of frequencies OTHER than the trunked radio system analog channels. I know they have 4 control channels they switch out on a daily basis, the very loud noise. They also have some 866 frequencies that have a "buzz saw" sound as well.
I do understand these may be "data" channels and would be illegal and impossible to de-code. But, at the same time, they also have some "odd" 856.0125, etc frequencies (FCC database) that I've monitored with a "screaching" noise. I'm not sure what those are.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Respectfully,
