If RadioReference is an LLC, does that mean Lindsay gets to deduct the cost of running this site ?

Sort of.

It really means that RadioReference.com is a corporation and a business. This corporation has revenue, expenses, and of course -- Taxes.

If you're an LLC, then wouldn't you be considered a partnership rather than a corporation?

Do you file a form 1065, 1120, or 1120S ?

Geez bro...why don't you just ask him for his SSN?
Are you trying to be his accountant?

Well it's probably a single-member LLC (a sole proprietorship) which is a disregarded entity for tax purposes, but it's taxed like a partnership.

Well there is this new fangled thing called email and I believe Lindsay is lucky enough to have access to this "email"...I bet if you emailed him at webmaster@radioreference.com this could be handled off the message boards...I know it is a crazy idea but one you may want to try...

The partnership is a 50/50 split as managing partners between myself and my lovely and talented spouse, in case something were to happen to yours truly.

Johnny, I have no idea what forms I filed - I pay very very good money for an accountant to manage the books and file the yearly tax return that this site generates - and it is about 1 inch thick.

....only if you're smart enough

See, I was right. I thought it was a partnership and not a corporation, which makes a big difference for tax purposes.
