AR-DV10 Real time clock problem

My AR-DV10 have problem about real time clock(RTC).
It's about 3~4 minutes faster after a month of setting the exact time.
Is my AR-DV10 a defective product?
It was purchased in April 2023. (SN: AA634xxx)

Mine does the same thing and has ever since I bought it in July of 2022.

After 35+ years in the computer world I have found that almost 99% of clocks in electronic equipment gain time weekly, unless there is a function to sync the clock to one of the atomic clocks automatically. At least once a month I find myself resetting the DVR, NVR, scanner and other devices as they all tend to gain time.

Just due to the cheap nature of the clocks used in electronic devices.

RTCs including the Dallas gain time when the battery becomes weak. Changing the battery should fix that for several years.
In case of the Dallas 12xxx it means changing it out with new.
Only other option is GPS time synch.
