Impressive setup for a recliner setup. I was expecting some telescoping antennas on the back of the radios until I continued to scroll down!
Nicely done!

At 69 years old I should setup something like that. My cat would love to share the hobby with me! Looks like you're all set for some serious winter monitoring on those cold days & nights!

Sure, the Diamond on top is used for general scanning with the TRX-2 hooked to the GRE pre amp. I use this set up mainly for the DX stations VHF, UHF, and 800.

The Cushcraft yagi is used with PSR600 for scanning MPSCS 800mhz towers.

ST-2 is a back up/spare

Wilson 800 is pointed at a neighboring 800 simulcast site.

All are fed with LMR400 coax.

Oh yeah. All you need is a cold foamy adult beverage and you are all set. Nice work.

Foamy? No, no, no. It should be red, served at room temperature, and you gotta hold the glass by the bowl. Or, if one prefers, it's white, served chilled, and you hold the glass by the stem. Or, it can be whatever you like, but get a good firm grip on the bottle so it doesn't slip out of the paper bag.

Scanner audio and signal quality varies, depending on what's consumed with it. CHP lowband on a vintage crystal scanner sounds best when consumed with a Carlsberg lager, for example. P25 phase II sounds best with a 2 oz shot of Kilkerran Scotch aged at least 12 years. Hey man, whatever it takes.

Sounds like easy listening to me! ;)

I'll take a glass of that red Mateus whilst listening to my local P25 digital simulcast Phase 1 system.

I'll take my blues with a Chivas Regal on the rocks and a Santa Domingo stout.

Whatever it takes...I like the way you think :)

PS: To the OP, sorry I veered off course, I originally intended to compliment your fine system there and got sidetracked. Very nice antenna setup. Makes me want a tower. Everything within arms reach from the recliner. I like it!

Great little shack. I too have a recliner shack, but with only one radio for now. The tower is awesome. Someday, but I fear lightning.
