Just a long shot. I just remembered the trick that shows all devices you've had in the past.
Perhaps deleting and checking the uninstall drivers for this device may help. It has worked for me in the past.
You'll want to launch a command prompt with administrator privileges. Then paste this line into it:
set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1
Hit enter then open device manager then click View>Show Hidden Devices.
Delete everything related to your device that you may think is corrupted. Of course your USB audio device will be unplugged.
Reboot the pc. Cold reboot, not restart.
Take a look at device manager again and make sure you did a good job. You may wish to paste the text in a cmd prompt again first.
Plug your device in again and see what happens. Maybe update the drivers from Windows Update.
Short of a reformat, which is a pita but is really the best fix without wasting a day trying to get things fixed., it should work if it's going to.
There are tools out there to backup IE, Edge, Firefox credentials, passwords, etc. first to external storage.
It's crazy when these things happen. My driver-less devices like the Behringer have never really refused to work.
Good luck!
